JOKER REVEALED

I caught this over at Ain't It Cool News. And, I have to agree with Harry Knowles, this is god awfully scary. Like a comic book John Wayne Gacy. For those of you who aren't nerds, this is Heath Ledger playing The Joker in the new Christopher Nolan Batman movie.

Now all I need to be happy with him is for him to be at least half as crazy and hilariously homicidal as the Batman Animated Series iteration of the Joker.

Remember Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? Or Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker?

Yeah, I've heard about this, and just recently saw this picture as well.

I appreciate Christopher Nolan taking this 'darker' approach to Batman...

...but damn. This picture may not let me sleep tonight.

My coulrophobia is already bad enough as it is.
