More Bush Arrogance

George Bush, a guy who went AWOL for months from a national guard position his dad got him into to keep him out of Vietnam, said the following to troops in Afghanistan today:
"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."

"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.

What an arrogant douche-bag.

Afghanistan has been an utter failure. With the Taliban back in government, one has to wonder what all these kids died for in the first place?
